Thread: Quick question on One-Handed Melee Damage SEAs

I looked around the Fencer Forum and the Fencer FAQ, as well asa number of web searches, but did not find the answer to what I was looking for.


Basically, I'm just looking for some verification on an SEA issue. Lets say theSEA says:


One-Handed Melee Damage +1


This will increase the base damage that you dish out with any Fencer attack correct? I noticed that there is no One-Handed Melee Damage mod recieved, even at Master, so I was just looking for a little bit of clarification on this mod and how it works.

I think it works just like Unarmed Damage. I have heard here that for weapons it's as if the bonus were added directly to the damage on the weapon. I can't remember if it's min/max or just max.


ATK gets +250 unarmed damage at Master. They get +70 at novice, and another +70 at master. As you said, fencers don't get a damage bonus on their own, and by using skill modifiers, a fencer can get at the most +25, so it's probably pretty insignificant.


If my math is right, if youhave a +25 plate and use a standard, max damage sliced gaderiffi it's pretty much like getting another 10-15% or so in damage, maybe the difference between a 35% slice and something like a 45-46% slice, which is of course unattainable. Not bad. In the long run, probably not that big a difference, but it can't hurt.

Hi,

I'm on my way up the fencer line and was wondering about 1-hand Damage AA's are they worth alot.

I've found a +6 1-Hand Dmg AA but it's 450k, is it worth it and how much extra damage will it give.

Thanks for any help.

From what I know, the mods that don't already appear in fencer for example: 1h counterattack or 1h dmg. Do not work, they are STILL broken. I have SEAs that total up to +25 1h dmg and 1h counterattack and have tested them. There is no difference in dmg and I dont even counterattack.
