I was just wondering if anyone has ever done this....

Seems like a nice idea to me as it would havedamage similar to mostgaffi's and AP 1...right?

I don't think it can be done. I believe the vibroblade uses different components. It uses vibro units and the acklay bone can't go in the vibro unit slot.

Acklay bones relace reinforcement cores in the crafting process, the only weapons that use re-cores are stun batons, gaffi sticks and powerhammers.

I've had a vibroblade with a looted vibro unit (I believe from a Nym).It might be calleda high-powered vibro unit. I got a mediocre damage slice and the max wound up being only 202.

I've also had a regularweaponsmith made vibroblade that caught a huge damage slice and wound up at 202.

I have never heard of anyone using a Nightsister vibro unit for a vibroblade, if it's possible. I'm surprisedwe haven't heard of it, since so many wealthy players have migrated to the fencer profession. I guess because it's just kinetic. If anyone is going to do it, they probably should do it soon before the new unarmed weapon surfaces.

that's the problem, most WS are aware that the NS vibroblade unit is required for the new incoming TK weapon (and it is very rare too), so they are just holding onto it.

I have a vibroblade with around 280 ish damage and it was made from a NS motor. I paid 1.5 mill for it tho
