I did post to the trader forum first, but nobody responded. I was hoping that by addressing a community of Fencers there would be a lot of people with Gaffis they no longer used. Like say a person had a decent gaffi but no longer uses it because they now have an ackly stun baton or they gota better gaffi, or something like that. I figured if someone spent like 10k on a Gaffi (I have no idea if that is anywhere near what they cost) and they are far enough along to not need it anymore they are probably also far enough along that they don't care to go to a trade forum and try to sell it for 5k or 7k or something. More likely the old unused gaffis is just sitting in people houses collecting dust.

Sorry for cluttering the fencer board with trade-related posts. It wasn't my intent to annoy or abuse.

I've found some great weapons on the bazaar. Click the option to search the entire galaxy.

With all these hologrinders, a lot of folks just unload their all their weapons on the bazaar as soon as they master.

Also, some weaponsmiths run a sliced weapon vendor and sell only the top damage slices, and just dump the rest on the bazaar. I'm perfectly happy with a baton at 278 or so, so I've often bought from the bazaar. You can tell this is the case when you see many with the same name from the same factory run. They're also in perfect condition.

If you can't kill something in this game using fencer weapons bought from the bazaar, it's because it can't be killed by a fencer.

I actually tried the bazzar recently, but moments later (as I was walking away from the bazzar terminal) I realized I hadn't selected search entire galaxy so maybe it's worth another shot. Thanks. I'll give that a try as well.

Also, I'm curious about how slicing works. From what I've seen I'm going to want a speed slice, but can a Smuggler specify the type of slice before slicing? Or do I need to buy a couple Gaffis and then have a smuggle slice them until i get a random speed slice?

His shop is located in Lokian Abyss, Lok. Also in LA is AbyssTech weapons owned by Trean. Both of them craft quality weapons for good prices.

132-223 isa good stick forunsliced damage that most people use to level fencer.To get higher damage you'll need ackley bone instead of reinforcement cores, but you'll be fine with a gaffi of this quality.With a good damage slice and powerup it should go over 300. and yes the slice is random so if ur novice buy a few , get them all sliced, use the speed ones to grind and once you do the footwork tree use the damage ones. Most good weaponsmiths make gaffs of this quality give or take a point or two.

Well my Gaffi came back last night and i was able to play around with it. Very nice!

Thanks for the tip. I will check out Fatty's shop soon. I may need a couple more Gaffis for slicing purposes.
