You make due with what you have. Alot of acklay stun batons sell out quickly on WS vendors, unless you happen to know one who could make it and hold it for you. But the fencer profession isn't about being an offensive juggernaut (that's what swordsmen or TKM do)..we're about defense.

My gaffi is max damage 296 and my stun is max damage 166. So until I get my bones made into a baton, this is best I can do.

What does it take to make an Acklay Baton? I am a master weaponsmith and am curious.

You just need an aklay bone from the Aklay in the Geo caves, they replace the reinforcement core i think, and they greatly improve the gaffi and stun batons.

Is Curved Sword, Ryyk Blade or Vibro Blade worth anything at master fencer?

I think fencer got some of the coolest specials in the game, But I just can't stand Batons! Stun Baton is kinda cool... But the gaddafi looks like a stupid golf club

Not that SWORDsmen are much better though, giving the fact that their best weapons are a scytche and a hammer

Jereck the reason we dont have huge damage weapons is because thatis the total anti thesis of what a fencer should be.

Most peoples opinion is that a fencer should do light damage but have high dodge / evasion abilites.

the philosophy behind it could be thought of as, if your enemy cant hit you, you can kill them at your leisure

it is NOT one of doing as much damage as possible whatever the cost. if you want a sword, but also want big damage go for the two-handed option. they are the big hitters. we are the lighter, more agile class.

I was looking at what you need to make a stun baton on SWGcraft.com, and this is what I found:

18 units of Steel

18 units of Polysteel copper

10 units of Metal

6 units of Byrothsis Crystalline gemstone

2 identical Power conditioners

Reinforcement cores (acklay bones may be subsituted)

My best weapon is a 232 max Gaffi stick. Unsliced right now. I don't have a stun baton and gave most of my swords away.

For PvP The best weapon is usually the stun baton. But if the person you are fighting has stun armor and a psg then it will make it harder to use the stun baton. Be careful and watch your mind seeing as the stun batons have a high mind cost. The gaderferti (wrong spelling) baton is youre best bet for lairs and such when you master, because speed doesnt matter.

And get better results with it than with the more powerful gaffi against armored opponents. Plus how can you beat the high accuracy and ability to stick specials the first time and continue to do them over and over again. without signifcant hits to your ham. I've never bought or used a vibroblade. I'm not sure if I've ever seen anyone using one... In the item window that pops up for it it looks like a dagger or knife. Is that the way it looks when you equip it? I know looks aren't everything, but I much prefer a sword toa knife as far as looks go. I borrowed my friends copy of KOTR a few days ago and on that game my character wields two vibroblades. In that game they are swords and look pretty sweet. It's made me think again about picking one up. So...is it a vibroKnife or a vibroSword?
