Not everyone has intimidate. So should we all have to take up brawler to get intimidate to beat a Fencer?

I can beat a Master fencer easily with my cm/rifleman by just spamming poison and mindhitting them. And before you say that cm/rifleman is cheap I agree 100% that it is cheap. Its just as cheap as a fencer dodging all your attacks. Or a tkm spamming a dizzy and you lying there on your back not being able to hit them back.

All professions need a balance.

The only professions that don't have /intimidate are ranged professions that should know better then to get with-in 20m of any Brawler profession.

Yes and ranged professions will spam attacks missing over and over and over. Jedi only has mindblast that saps crap loads of force to use and RANDOMLY does varying stats including intimidate that dont stick easily.

Well if ranged professions were smart they will not spam. Spamming specials doesn't win fights, knowing how to play wins fights. Ranged professions can run forever and just use auto attack, granted wouldn't kill us, but they wound't die either.

So you have a special that does random status effects and hits the mind, great. As far as status effects in general, they are hard to get to stick, to any Mutliple Elite-Profession Template.

Wether they spam or not it wont change the fact they you can barley hit them. Getting stun on a fencer works pretty well sometimes but if you cant even get it to stick because everytime your attacking your missing whats the point? By the time you get it to stick they will catch up to you and dizzy/lunge you down and kill you.

Mindblast does kinetic damage and does practically nothing in pvp for damage. It doesnt even do hardly any damage in pve. All its used for is to get states like dizzy or intimidate to stick. The same states that cost you absolutely nothing to spam with buffs. Yea your right its not just with Fencer its the skill itself thats bugged but your the one who created this thread saying that intimidate was the way to beat a Master fencer.

The point of getting stun on a fencer is to take away thier defenses so you can hit them, isn't it obvious. You again show that you don't know much about this game. Kinetic damage, from a light saber is a Jedi problem not a Fencer problem. Here is a little advice then about Mindblast, use it to get a state on the fencer then use a different special, wow who would have thought.

As far as the intimidate, lets see now, intimidate some one so they do half the damage they would normally do. For a Fencer /intimdate is the worse thing that could happen to us because of our low damage already. Next.

Ya thats what I said. Stun does make a difference. But again, whats the point when your shooting a stun attack over and over and all youre doing is missing. You have a slim chance that it will stick. Ive fought against many Fencers with my rifleman where I just kept spamming stun shot and missing every time until the fencer cought up with me and killed me.

I never said anything about lightsabers. Your going to give advice on mindblast? LMAO. Ok let me see you say use it to get a state on a Fencer right? Did you not read the part where I said it doesnt stick well and costs crap loads of force? You would have to spam it a few times to get something to MAYBE stick. And use a different special? Like what? By the time we get a state to stick on you from mindblast we have no force left.

Obviously intimidate works well against any profession , but whats your point? Did I say it doesnt?

First of all, what is your rifleman doing anywhere close to 20m of a Fencer? Second of all it is not my or Fencers fault that Mindblast costs so much force power. Third of all as I clearly stated Intimidate is a way to bear Fencers, or do you need to re-read my initial post to comprehend that?

First of all there is a thing called moving. And when a melee profession is being attacked by a ranged profession they tend to move towards them thus reducing the ranged professions range. Sure we can move the other way, but so can they.

Your telling me you have problems fighting ranged professions cause you cant get into range to attack them? Guess your the first.

I never said mindblast was your problem. You stated that intimidate was the way to beat a Master fencer so I told you how we can even possibly get intimidate to stick on you. And since you seem to assume things I am assuming that you made this thread in contrast to beating a fencer with a Jedi.

Did I say that I had a problem getting in range? No. I did make this in contrast to beating a Fencer with a Jedi. And like I said, intimidate is the way to beat a fencer.

And I'm telling you that a Pure Fencer isn't a match for a Mid Level Jedi. They just don't have the defenses or healing ability to do it.
