If you average everything together(including stun armor, knockdown damage multipliers, misses, blocks, etc.), what is a reasonable guess of the damage per second a master fencer does in PvP combat against a prepared opponent? And of this, how much do you think is mind damage (I assume that the majority of hits are from scatter 2, so approximately 1/3 of it is mind damage)?

I know there are a lot of other factors (ranged vs melee attacks, ability to dizzy/knockdown or not, defensive skills, special attacks, etc.), but I am trying to get some basic metrics to compare some classes with.

I did a quick search in the fencer forum and didn't see this number anywhere. However, ifthis is one of those things "everybody on the forum knows" and is quoted everywhere, I'm sorry to bother everybody.

Also, If the person you are fighting has stun armor and a PSG then your DPS will decrease dramatically.

when they are unarmored no kd i get 600 damage plus a second when armoured and kd prolly 100-200

with psgs...... like 10 or 20....

Okay, are you talking about regular attacks or special attacks.

The reason I ask is because I have very a low speed curved sword and gaderffi baton. Combined with the fact I am a Master Fencer, I can attack with a spin or meleehit3 just over once every second. Granted, most of the damage done is Health or Action, but I average 1700 a hit. Of course, armor and shields and other factors can decrease that, but against unarmored opponents I hit for between 1500 and 2000 a shot.

With a stun baton, I do less sicne I do not have a decent baton. With that I avaerage only about 1100 a hit.

I usually do not bother with scatter attacks, preferring to try and dizzy and knock down an opponent so I can jump, jive and wail on their helpless body.

If u r fightin somebody that has stun armor and a psg, u will barely if even damage him at all unless u have a 400+ stun baton; even then its still really low.

now you're talking about attacking NPC not players. When PvP you get the 75% damage reduction and with 80% armor and PSG you'll be hitting for err 20?

With my 240-412 stun baton, I hit unarmored people for 400-800 damage using 1handhit3.

Using the same baton, I hit people who are wearing stun armor and a psg for about 30-60 damage.
