Ok, so I'm getting bored of TK, everyone and their mom is a TK...I was wondering how Rifleman do in PvE. What is the BEST ranged profession for PvE? (Not a Template, since the CU is nearing I just want to find one good PvE profession)

Thanks...

Rifleman is fantastic atm, as you can see below i have a Swordsman/TKM as well.

I am enjoying mowing down groups of Stormies with Strafeshot2 before they crack a round off lol, i have to take advantage due to the fact that i can't see this being possible after the CU.

The CU is all about levelling up profs so there is no 'best prof', i say go with what you want to try as you'll have more fun that way

I did the math on a template i had in mind, and it seems alright, but with having some of my SP used in force sensitive skills i know that the template will not equal 80. I'm curious to know if not having that CL80 will really hurt me in PvE. Any info would be most appreciated

Yes and no, it will be harder for you to solo high end stuff since their dmg multiplier is greater, but if you are soloing close to your level stuff you really won't havr much trouble especially if you have healing in your template

the problem is that the lwoer level you are compared to the animal the more dmg you willtake so if yorue like cl 70 and goes up twowards a bol level 80 it will hit you about 2k dmg if you arent grouped with a cl 80

Not having cl80 is a real pain in the butt in PvE, especially if you're a quester (i.e. most of the better RoTW quests, and the various FS/Jedi quests get much harder). Now if you have a CL 80 friend to group with while doing them, you'll never notice the difference. Its only solo it will be a problem.

If you're never planning to go jedi, I'd say you'd probably get more from being CL80 than any of the Force Sensitive trees would give. If you are planning on being jedi, get to CL80, buy what FS skills you can with the points left over, then bank the FS experience you'd need to buy the rest of the skills to qualify. Once you've finally done all your unlock quests and are ready to move on to the next step, drop a few skills to buy the FS stuff with your banked exp.
