Alright I did a lot of messing around with the one hand lunge 1 on creatures. We all know how well it works on humanoids with dizzy, and I was wondering how well lunge worked against creatures. I had heard many things and figured out to try it myself.

Last night I was on Yavin 4 so most of the creatures I test were of healthy size, ranging from 3k-9k health.

If you use lunge on a creature it has a very good chance of landing. The creature will not graphicly go to kneeling or prone, but if you look at the icon next to their HAM bars you can tell when they kneel and prone. Also a lot of creatures cannot hit you while they are kneeling or prone because they use melee attacks. So it did help to use lunge every once in a while. Especially for an escaping and running away, or for switching the aggro to someone else.

Also, surprisingly, I made a bird-like flying reptile go prone and kneeling while he was flying. Dont' ask me how but he didn't hit me for the short time he was in the position.

Also on these bigger creatures the position change didn't last long but it was long enough to notice and use to my advantage.

Well those are my findings, if anyone has anything to add or dispute go for, these results are just from one night of my hunting.

yep creatures change posture they just dont fall over because of knockdown. Not too much help but it can be used correctly it makes a difference.
