One of the main reasons for having fencer is the dodge. If the dodge can no longer be stacked, then is fencer still worth having if dodge can't be used in combo w/ your fave TKA/Swords/Pike skills?

The combat balance will change how the entire game is played. Losing something might not be as bad as you might think and fencer could be very interesting outside of dodge after the revamp. It is best to wait and see what is really going on.

Im glad they're killing off stackers in the combat upgrade. It's annoyed me for so long that a lot of TKM's and such would take up a tree or two of fencer just for the defenses, like there wasnt anything more to our profession.
After the upgrade, only the purists and true devotees to the fencer profession will remain. I was master fencer for a long time, but im dropping it to try some new stuff now.

Well not quite, because TKA/Sword/Pike are also all changing, along with fencer which will have new wepons nwe mods and new skills, so if you really want to know the answer tro your question sign up to the cobmat beta, cos no one can answer that right now

All the numbers are changing, everyone and everything is changing...there is no rational arguement for fear or excitement at this point in re: to professions changing...

I'm not sure you're aware of this, but dodge doesn't exactly work with your "favorite TKA/Swords/Pike skills."

Your not going to dodge much in PVP as you will spend most of your time there intimidated, and there is no reason to use fencer as your main proffesion in PVE.
And the only way to boost your dogde through skills except for those in fencer is by getting the dodge from pistoleer, not from TKA or Pikeman what are you thinking about?
Also this is just plain stupid as neither you or me haveno idea how the combat rebalance will work in detail

I think the Devs stated that stacking would change.

*edited because it is no longer nessisary to make that point*
But just to be clear, all professions will interact with one another so as to provide some manner of tactical advantages and shortcomeings to all possible templates. Stacking as you know it now will not exist, that is true. But most of what you know right now will not remain in any recognizable form... so makeing comparisons between what is and what will be, as I've stated a hundred times, is pointless.

No more stickies...
There will be a whole new set of stickies once the CU goes public, I'm already working on them. Till then it's all in a sticky already up there.
