heh, glad to see new fencers. I've been a master fencer for a while now, but im retiring to become a bounty hunter (and i dont believe in bounty hunters using melee weapons, especially against jedi)

I'll be making a big showcase on the wall in my house for all my old fencer weapons.

Some advice for grinding fencer though, it is a MUST to go up footwork first. Get footwork 4 and after that itsa breeze. With footwork 4 you almost cap speed. Give up that 2.3 speed stick for one that has more damage. The one i did most grinding with was 3.4 speed, 295 max, picked up one later that was 3.4 speed, 345 max. with footwork 4, dont worry about speed, any weapon with speed lower than 4.0 will still hit at least close to the cap. Damage is your main priority, as fencers cant dish out a whole lot normally.

It always annoyed me that fencers didnt get more useful swords. The devs saw fit to force us to use sticks instead It might change with the combat upgrade, but i'll no longer be among the fencer community. Farewell everyone /salute

Well I was master swordman/master brawlerand was thinking of what to take as backup proff. First wanted to go rifleman, but since I am bothan SA cost would kill my mind w/o mind buffs. Than thought of pikeman...tried it and said no. Fencer was last choice, I tried fencer on my alternate long time ago I and really hated it, I couldn't kill anything bigger than quenker. So with this in mind I go fencer, I bought 2.3 speed 240 damage Geo stick, and WOW I can hit fast, and now I can dizzy/kd. After I got 0201 in fencer I knew I made the right choice, my attack speed was insane and I wasn't getting hit much. Now I am 0433 and I no longer use (used untill today) swordman for ppl mission or PvE (humanoids) fighting. With swordman I get hit a bunch but with fencer it makes me laugh when NPC's can't hit me and I jump jump jump . I think that this might be one of the best proffs I ever did, thanks devs for making fencer worth getting.

I also love fencer Im at 1423 so far and medic 0100 and I was able to solo Droideka's etc while using only brandy and stims to heal myself I tend to do more damage to myself by using my specials.

im also 0044 Pistoleer for the defences which works quite well

I didn't noticed until after making master fencer last week that the npc's when they went melee could not hit me. I went to do the maurauder stronghold. I aggro'd every maurader in the stronghold all at once by accident *whoops* Didn't notice until after it was all over that I had only gotten hit when they were using ranged weapons.

When I started a new toon on another server I pondered tka and swordsman to try something different. But I'll just do fencer again. I'm in love.

Fencer is an awesome prof, I kept it for about 2/3 months , playing around with it, trying other profs out with it. until i recently dropped it for TKM - M.brawler - M.swordsmen - Fencer 4040

Never got bored with fencer thinking about maybe going back up it

I became Master Fencer today, and I really must say:

The moves on a fencer are just brilliant and its really cool to watch while I slaughter a group of pirates/gurks/whatever.... I rearly use one attack only, I use em all because they are so nice to look at.

As far as I'm concerned a fencer has the greatest moves off all!
