I do ok at the moment in PvP with medic skill level 40 and good stim D's (.... lol ... that is just in case I get hit lol ) But do you guys think that Intim2/Warcry2 (with it's bugs !)/One Hd'ed Lunge 2 are better that the medic skills ? ..... I guess the question is : Is offense better than defence ?. Thanks all.
Unless your template contains aspects of an elite medical profession, I would advise dropping medic for master brawler absolutely. You should roll with CMs to heal you, so you only have to concentrate on inflicting hurt, and staying within healing range.

If you are relying on melee in PvP master brawler should be a priority for you over medic.
That is all.

Yup, as everyone said, you need MBrawler. This may seem like you're just going to try to outlast people, but there is more to it. You have to watch out for DOT wpns, try to get some disease resist and poison resist CA's or AA's. The importance of MBrawler is now you have a decent ranged attack so you can get the kiters better. Obviously intimidate and Warcry are better now also. The only problem is you ant heal yourself, at least your Health and Action. The best way to offset this is by doing more damage than the other guy. Fencers arent a damage profession, it's a defense prof. So get a really nice acklay stun baton and some DOT wpns and there shouldnt be much that you cant handle. Except the occasional Sentinel
Good Luck, if anyone has more imput or if I made some mistakes, extrapulate

However, every template sucks without at least novice medic.
You can't always rely on others.

not really. Intimidate 1 and warcry 1 work fine, are just shorter lived than their counterparts at master brawler.
Lunge 2 is nice, but in pvp lunge 1 combined with dizzy is often much more effective. Defense stackers usually have high defense vs knockdown, and good thaktillo (more KD defense), but this leaves them with low posture change defenses, which can work just as well

yeah considering that there's food thesedays, relying on pure kd is moreorless a waste even tho it still has its charms via intim and warcry.
personnally i like having hte medic because it allows me to do a lot more in combat and survive in many mroe situations than otherwise possible, i.e. soloing any NS other than elders (due to 100% kinetic/stun resist >_<

Actually defense stackers usually have good posture down defense as well. It usually comes with all of the other defenses that they stack. Even more so is the defense vs. dizzy. Even if you manage to KD them the high defense makes it much easier to get back up from a dizzy. Against non-defense stackers I agree, its much more useful when they think their thak will save them.
Have any of you noticed lately that dizzy/lunge1 vs. humanoid NPC's isn't working that well? They seem to lose the dizzy everytime they stand up!
