Thread: Yes, Fencer is great fun, but how can it be funner

Fencer, a great proffesion none the less, speedy, very agile, cool special moves, but, it just isn't as fun as it used to be. Remember the old days, the days when people wouldn't rely on buffs, but just get into huge hunting groups and try there best? When a medic was often more important than today? Remember having 10 trying to take down one huurton lair? And Masters of proffesions truly worked for it? Those were great days. Teras Kasi Artists weren't all over the place, Bounty Hunters weren't at every corner, and if you were a Jedi, you were a god? Fencer was fun back then, you were an important ally, nowadays, your just a solo guy with a 20k buff, trying to farm in the squill lair or get as many huurton missions in as you can. I just miss the old days, I miss it when it was fun. Does anyone have any ideas to make fighting as a fencer and for that matter all other proffesions more fun?

- Knockdown (w/o brawler)
- Mind damge
- "The usual more swords thing...."
- More clothes for us to dress up as swashbuckler, ninja, thug, samurai, gladiator and so on...
- stun
- etiquette emotes (fenncer only)
- stop stabbing ourself when clapping for entertainers
- sheat for sword
- two swords at once (even if one is for the looks only)

You long for the good old days, start up on TC. Have every challenge you could want here, have to hit lucky to get a doc or medic unless you do it yourself, soloing is common particularly for me being that i'm on at odd hours.
Have the added benefit of contributing to the community as a whole by testing new stuff and doing it with the raw abilities of your build.

Sounds like a good idea, I was on the test center once, but later that day my computer kinda...well...died? Anyway I might try that. Is anyone up for starting an old fashioned hunting party sometime maybe?

I personally enjoy running round unbuffed picking fights with things using only brandy and stim b's to keep myself alive soloing a bunch of stormies trying to draw them one or two at a time can make for quite a fun challenge

If you look meup ill group hunt anytime im on. Currently working out of Mos Eisley but dont mind if you have other ideas on locations. Incidentally im on at odd hours compared to most US ppl as im an aussie, we are GMT +10 here for reference.
