well... was a master fencer for a long while, and recently started giving it up to go with bountyhunter/carbineer. Now i realise my mistake 
I loved fencer, and i cant go without it, so im gonna grind back up to master. But i would like to keep my ranged stuff, and BH to hunt jedi.
Got back to 4231 fencer now, a bit of a grind ahead of me, after master footwork again it should be easy.
Anyways, heres the temp i was planning on. Ive always found that mixing a ranged and melee profession is the best way to do things, gives you two options, plus more damage types in pvp (having carbineer's AP2 weapons and other damage types helps a lot), and getting ranged mitigation is a huge bonus in itself.
Brawler 0400
Scout 4000
Master Marksman
Master Fencer
Bounty hunter 3400
Carbineer 0400
comes out to 250 points. Only thing im concerned with is the lack of medical skills, which could prove very bad later on, especially if the CU nerfs buffs. If so, i'd probably have to drop carbineer and hope that the BH carbines can do good enough on its own.

I would wait for the revamp. Also, carbineer is all about status attacks. But fencer is also all about status attacks. So if you like fencer whole lot, you might as well get 4000BH and go Melee. You get ranged mitigation, too. And you can pick up medic and more melee def.
Im a MCarb/BH3444. It's unique and really effective for certain style. It's really different from fencer. You should give it more time to get use to the new strategies.

An awesome template would be
Master Fencer / 0020 Carbineer / Bh 4000 / Medic with the rest of the points
That will give u another 20 defense vs intim which helps a lot

In hunting Jedi your not going to use your ranged attacks when you have master fencer. I would have 3300 in BH for the Fire KD. But i would get medic instead of haveing 0400 in carbineer. Fencer rulesvs. high lvl. Jedi (knights)
