At master fencer, is the +12 meleespeed from FS combat prowess useless?

If I am not wrong a master fencer caps at weapon-speed 4.2 w/o Master brawler. The +12 speed enables you use even slower weapons, but then again I havn't seen many batons with 4.3 or worse speed

I still don't get this. I was told that you are capped for speed at master so that +12 fs melee speed is useless. I am going Fencer/BH and it's either drop some of my medic skills or drop the speed. Can anyone help me please?

It is theorized that anything above 100 aids you when you are stunned. Don't know if there is anything to that, however.

The good thing about FS melee speed is that you dont need master.
