This is my favorite place to grind out faction and experience for Force Sensitive conversions.
The top Link is that of the Map with a bright red circle of the area I speak of.

Yeah... I think everyone knows about that now, unfortunately. I really wish there were more 'instanced' areas/quests in SWG. It really sucks when spawn campers sit on the 3-4 places at that site for 3 hours (buff session).
All in all... you are right. That area kicks arse for grinding out FS XP, Faction XP, money, loot, etc.,... In one buff, you can easily cap two elite combat classes in XP, combat xp, and bring in about 10k in faction xp (usually more).
Wish there were honestly more area's that were as good as that one.
I also like the fact that this area helps open up some serious avenue's for PvP, too. As REB's sit here and kill weak IMP NPC's, it makes a great place for IMP players to jump in and take the REB's on. Afterall, the REB players would already be TEF'd and open to being sniped or whatever.
