Thread: Test Center Fencer tree

Hiya folks. As some have mentioned, Fencers (and all brawlers to an extent) appear to be getting some attention soon. For your viewing pleasure, here's the Fencer skill tree as it appears in Test Center right now (sorry if this has already been posted... I browsed recent thread titles and didn't see it yet).


DISCLAIMER: This is only Test Center. Who knows when (or even if) this will all go live. Take it as hope, but don't take it as more than that at this point.


We didn't get any new moves or weapons that I saw. It's all in the bonuses, so I left the moves out of the list altogether. Where there were changes, I put the current live values in parentheses after the TC values for comparitive purposes. The biggest changes are boosted Defense abilities in the Stances/Grips branch, boosted Center of Being bonuses in the Footwork branch, and boosted Dodge bonuses in Technique branch.


Note: Center of Being is a Novice Brawler ability that appears to give defensive bonuses for a short time (maybe at the cost of offense, but I haven't tried it yet).


Novice Fencer:
Dodge +15 (+5)
Melee/Ranged Defense +15 (+5)
Toughness +4
Accuracy +20 (+10)
Speed +10


Intermediate Stances/Grips:
Melee/Ranged Defense +12 (+2)


Advanced Stances/Grips:
Melee/Ranged Defense +15 (+5)


Expert Stances/Grips:
Melee/Ranged Defense +12 (+2)
Toughness +4


Master Stances/Grips:
Melee/Ranged Defense +15 (+5)
Toughness +4


Intermediate Footwork:
Speed +5
Center of Being Duration/Effect +2/+5 (+0)


Advanced Footwork:
Speed +20
Defense vs. Knockdown/Posture Down +20
Center of Being Duration/Effect +2/+5 (+0)


Expert Footwork:
Center of Being Duration/Effect +2/+5 (+0)


Master Footwork:
Dodge +15 (+5)
Defense vs. Knockdown/Posture Down +30 (+20)
Speed +20
Center of Being Duration/Effect +2/+10 (+0)


Intermediate Technique:
Dodge +15 (+0)


Advanced Technique:
Defense vs. Blind/Dizzy/Intimidate +10
Dodge +15 (+0)


Expert Technique:
Dodge +15 (+0)


Master Technique:
Defense vs. Blind/Dizzy +30 (+10)
Defense vs. Intimidate +10 (don't know why this didn't change with blind/dizzy... may be an oversight)
Dodge +15 (+5)


Intermediate Finesse:
Nothing


Advanced Finesse:
Equilibrium +10
Accuracy +30 (+20)


Expert Finesse:
Nothing


Master Finesse:
Equilibrium +10
Accuracy +30 (+20)


Master Fencer:
Alertness +10
Equilibrium +10
Dodge +15 (+10)
Melee Defense +5
Accuracy +20 (+10)
Speed +10

What's the speed cap? Any word on if it's going to be reduced to .5?

The attic was less to us from the cellar the bones like the attic let them have it let them stay in the attic. When they sometimes come down the stairs at night and stand perplexed behind the door and headboard of the bed brushing that chalky skull with chalky fingers with sounds like the dry rattling of a shutter. Thats what I sit up in the dark to say.

Don't know... we'll have to wait for patch notes for that one, probably.

It is either going to be reduced a bit, or something is gunna make it so it isnt' THAT good, if it truly is that good, can someone please give me some handcuffs and cuff me to my schoolwork!
