i have a charcater who is currently mch, 0340 doc and novice pistoleer. how much of a difference in dmg would be. i enjoy pistoleer but have been thinking of a change.

i have another character i am working on who is currently 4300 brawler i was working towards tka but i have found 1 armed more enjoyable and may go fencer instead. so if a tka and a fencer matched up who would be better?

thanks for any input.

I would say it entirely depends on the players themselves, and how well they know their professions. After the combat patch, I expect to see some fairly drastic changes to TKA and to most combat professions in general.

I know from my experience that a Fencer can beat a TKA, but I have heard that it Really Really helps to also get Master Brawler Along with Fencer.

As far as damage goes, TKA can often do more, but they only do kinetic damage, which can easily be absorbed by good armor, or higher level mobs. Fencer receive the stun baton, which, for the most part, goes straight through armor, and most mobs don't have stun resist. So, given a certain set of circumstances, we can hit much harder than a TKA.

Again, it really comes down to the equipment of each, and how well each person knows their profession. I personally don't know it well enough yet to be able to compete effectively.

thks for the input, i can say that i dueled someone with my brawler character. the person was 4222 i am 4300 he was buffed with partial composite armor and i had no armor or buffs. after about 5 minutes he ended the duel saying i would have already won if he wasn't buffed. i used 1 armed 3 dizzy acouple body hits and swithched to unarmed for stun and blind. it seemed to work well and has gotten me alittle hooked to see what being a fencer would be like.
