I have this Tusken Outcast character that I play for fun on Kettemoor, and I wanted to stick with the Tusken outfit only. So I have a Gaffi-stick & Tusken rifle, and have ofcourse gone Fencer and Rifleman.

But I was wondering if it is a viable option to play a Fencer (and Rifleman) without wearing any kind of armour?

The Tusken outfit only leaves room for a shirt and pants, so that would be the only two pieces of armour available if I should even use any.

Anyways, I haven't played Fencer that much yet, but I think it is an interesting combination, and I was just wondering if I should give up on it, or if I have to adapt to armours if I want to stick with it

It depends upon what you want to do in the game. If you are looking to solo high level mobs without buffs while in your roleplaying gear you may wish you had armor.

If you are PvPing you will probably do quite well as a master rifleman if you can work a jawa rifle into your character's story. The stun damage cuts right through composite armor. These days many hardcore PvPers always fight buffed. If you are unarmored and unbuffed against these players you will probably not last long (unless you really use your wits).

All aside I think this would be a fun template to play. With the eliminaiton of stacked bleeds in the next patch, having two different pool bleeds would be nice. Rifleman also gets some great defense mods to help when fighting up close and personal.

Another note. The gaffi stick has low ham costs to mind.

This will be helpful to balance the high mind drain of a rifle. Use a few high level rifle shots while the mob is at range, then switch to the gaffi and conserve your mind for heals while you finish the mob.

I'm a master fencer/ master brawler and i have begun to fight un-armored more and more. I took down an ancient bull rancor with only an ubese jacket and helmet around 55% kinetic resist, no doctor buffs and only food. I also frequently run around Fort Tusken without armor and do just fine. Of course, there's the occasional one-shot kill, but sometimes even armor won't save you from those
