He's been corrected already, and I agree with the first response.

However, maybe "Batter" would be a better name for fencers. There is something drastically wrong in the world of SWG when you become a FENCER and your best available weapon is....a club?

Fencers should not be BEATING there enemies over the head with a club. Fencers slice and dice.

I dunno, I just don't think of a Fencer as someone clubbing his enemy to death.

When I started fencer I was not very excited about the stun baton.I wanted my fencer to be the "fancy european" kind mentioned earlier.However, the stun baton WAILS.Many, many high level mobs have no defense to this damage type. While my 320 damage gaffi stick is doing around 300 damage with hit2to armored, kinetic resited mobs, I can pull out the stun baton and easily hit 600-800 everytime with the same attack.

It has a similar effect against armored targets in PvP.

The only negative is that it has high mind costs. This however, is made up for by the cool bonk noise it makes.

I think it's kind of lame that the best fencer weapon is a stun Baton. When I think of stun baton, I think of the crappy, last ditch, "I'm out of ammo and don't have a lightsaber yet" weapon from Jedi Outcast. And when I think of fencer, I think of, you know, fencing. Not just one handed sword fighting. There's a big difference. If you know anything about fencing, you know that what fencers do in SWG is NOT fencing.

And I don't think Rogue is a good name either. It's perfect for what it is now, and doesn't work for fencer.

I feel like an English cop with the stun baton...I'm forced to walk around holding Swordsman weapons to feel like a fencer, and only pull out the real ones when I fight.

When the dev's created this class Fencer shouldnt have been the name to use, so many people want to be elegant european fencer duelists and that image is horrible imo.

They wanted a One-Handed profession this is what they should have named us:

Rouge

Then rename the 0/0/4/0 smuggler tree to:

Escape Artist

Both names suit each style MUCH better, escape artist makes more sense then Rouge for their set of skills, and a Rouge is someone who is fast and wields light weapons and dodges like, our class. That would be a great change if they ever decided to do so.
