I would say 19/20 of my deaths to npc's since I mastered have been to due to scatter hits.


anyone know if this is intended

A tuskin killed me with master strafe once (strafe shot 2 at master rifleman) killed my mind in one shot lol

wierd stuff man, it should have been in red if it hit you. And that is a lot of damage for one hit

Yes it is intended, Scatter hits go through secondary defenses and any missing pieces in an armor suit.

It is currently bugged, scatter hit is NOT "Undodgable" I have had it miss many, MANY times (Miss as in 2ndary dodged, not "You miss")



As for that evade thing, happens to me all the time, but consider this, You shoudlnt be able to solo one, muchless 5 i think I see? (Per the monster poll) Be happy you survived as long as you did, and they didnt bust out a rifle on you. That Adv strafe is insta from those guys.

yeah the defence issue is a little odd, eg especialy with npc evasion. I fired at the nuna (i know pistol not blade),


You hit blahh for blah and blah evade

Half dead nuna


Even though the single shot was evaded it still did a load of dmg.

Could it be that the evasion only applied to one pool of the damage from the scatter hit? So if you evaded the hit to your mind pool, the health AND action pool hit still hits?


This would be a nice advantage to scatter hits, since every other non-targeted hits are random pool.

Oh..and my advice for Tusken...be ready to pop on your armor when they group up against you.Even the best fencer defenses aren't going to be enough, statistically.

laeren, thats how it seemingly works now, I'm just not convinced its intended.



And I can solo fot tusken 3/4 times that I go, both unarmored and without buffs. its just those **edit** scatter hits that get me the other 25% of the time.

Moves that hit all pools cant be dodged or counterd or blocked or evaded
