Thread: anyone care to comment on a char. template?

Hiya,
Im new to the fencing game but im sick of being on the ground with a tka doin the dance of death on me..
I would like a good balance of defence and offence,
so here we go,
Master fencer
master carbineer (hoping the ham costs will be fixed soon) i like the +'s to kd
pistoleer 0-0-4-0
medic novice and marksman 0-4-4-0
Will this template stop me from eating concrete from TKA's?
Any suggestions?

The word is that the Status Defense (Dev v KD/Dizzy, etc) will continue to stack, as will the Melee/Ranged defenses. The only things that will not stack will be Dodge, Counterattack and Block, which will become profession-specific (Pistoleer Dodge, Carbineer Counterattack, Rifleman Block, Fencer Dodge, etc).
If this is true then this person is taking a good melee prof+ a good ranged prof, with Pistoleer for the really nice anti-status-effect mods. The Fencer Dodge and the Carbineer Counterattack will play bigger roles than the Pistoleer stuff (since the Dodge is in a different tree).

I was told non of the defence mods would stack so i would drop the pistol part of your template and take up tka for meditation. Carbine is ok since they have ranged kd.
