Thread: Viable PVP/PVE solution template?

Hi guys, just working a build i had in mind, wondered what you thought to this, for both pvp/pve...


Was thinking:


Master fencer, master rifle, tka 4400, novice medic

or

Fencer 0400, master rifle, master tka


I have a 330+ dmg acklay bone stun baton wiating to be used...so looking fr the best build for all around offense, defence and good use of all skills, not sure whether to hang onto tka/rifle & take 2 trees of fencer? (Currently tkm/rifle)


Any ideas or anything else, just please throw them in.


Also have another char who is bh pistol/pistoleer & looking a tad weak, so any advice there, also appreciated...even a complete comabt rebuild..just tell me what you suggest!

I'm generally firmly against ranged weaponry.


But your template does hold merit that aside.

The best pvp template is the top one.


Best PvE would most likely be Master Rifleman/Master H. Swordsman/Some fencer.


My personal favorite is what i have, TKM/Master Fencer/??. I'm thinking pistoleer for the def. vs kd and dizzy and ranged metigation. Ranged metigation is HUGE in PvP and PvE, just make sure you have at least Ranged and Melee metigation 2. Hope i could help.

Stupid forums...but if you have a 300+ damage Acklay stun baton you want to use in pvp you DEFINATELY want to have MASTER fencer. Master fencer is THE best thing to have, you need the extra boosts of master. In PvP you'll want to use scatter hit 2(3?). Whichever you get in the top left box.If you use hit3 you most likely will hit their health pool and you don't want that in pvp. Anyways, sorry about the double post.


Oh yeah, if your going to have master rifleman, it will be a hell of a lot better to have an awesome jawa rifle than an awesome stun baton.

^ In pvp this is owned by combat medics, fencer/doctors with good equipment, or any master pistoleer with better armor than you, say you have regular composite, sonic blasters will rip through you.


Fencer 0400, master rifle, master tka


^ Same thing here, except you will be owned by master fencers with good equipment, they wont even need to have doctor to show you up.

not having a medic in tehre will hurt you. you should get at least to Stim Bs and 1st aid.

tka 4301, master fence, master rifle and novice medic


That was my template a few days ago, it was great in pve, PCs almost never hit me.


But for pvp thats another story, this is a good template but ther is better ones that will kill you easily, like a cm rifleman.


What I have now is master fencer, master rifleman, novice medic and master brawler.


Master brawler gives you some good skills, like lunge 2, which is so great, almost every hit is a KD. Ther is also a spd bonus and some defense bonus. Inimidation 2 is great to, i always begin a fight with int2, reduce dmg a lot.


But nothing is perfect, you just need to try and find the one for you.

well, imo the best pve template is the first one you mentioned.. just dont take tka X/4/x/x but x/3/x/1

this way you'll be capped on ranged/melee defense, and not like you loose anything with the x/4/x/x..


so this is my template: master fencer, master rifleman, tka 4/3/0/1, novice medic.

defense aquity is priceless, btw, takes you well above the cap. (this is from the tka precision striking line)

acuity works only when you are unarmed or with VKs equipped.


TKA is the only profession with that ability, the moment you switch to another weapon you have zero acuity for it to stack with.


if you are fencer better go for teh added Combat Equilibrium for PvP, or meditation line for PvE.
