Get a speed sliced stun baton. Alot of creatures are vuln to stun. Also get a speed sliced gad stick for attacking lairs as the stun baton won't damage a lair.

A speed slice curved sword is also good when you are first starting out.

I used a high damage speed sliced gaffi all the way from nov. brawler to master fencer.
