Does Defensive acuity from TKA help with fencer? Just wondering because if not wouldn't it be better for me to have ranged damage mitigation? Or does that only work if you have that ranged weapon equipped? I am still trying to put a pvp template together and this is what i have so far Master TK/Fencer/Brawler and pikeman 4/0/0/4?

It does seem to, though it doesn't seem to be much of a difference.

The answer to you question is a resounding no. Whne you pick up that line it may appear that you are getting hit less often, but that is actually due to the ranged/melee def picked up in the defensive acuity line.
