I received a Gaderiffi Baton as loot off a tusken raider. I was about to discard it when I noticed it had some strange stats
----
Damage over Time
Type: Poison
Attribute: Mind
Strength: 3
Duration: 48s
Potency: 15%
Uses: 573
------
The rest of the stats are pretty typical for an average Gaderiffi Baton.
Has anyone else seen this type of poisoned weapon drops? Is it rare?
Anyone want to buy it?

Yes awhile ago loot items with special properties were added to the game, they are just very very rare so as to not overshadow crafters much. Also thats why there're charges.

In this case, strength is the damage per tick, and I believe potency is the chance to 'proc' (that's basically what these are). Mind dot is nice, but at 3 per tick I don't think it'll be a particularly sought-after weapon.

Thanks for the info. I'll probably give it to the next fencer I come across, as I cannot use it.

Oh! Oh! I got a gaffi off a tusken that sets things on fire. I thought the "strength" part meant it also sets the enemy's strength on fire..which I guess makes no sense.

I wouldn't get my hopes up if I were you, Rubius..the Fire gaffi I have is bugged or just doesn't work often. I tested it, and it wouldn't set my opponent on fire..but it said that its charge counter showed that some charges had been used up
