Thread: What I've Noticed...
Granted, some things I've noticed include the fencer not hitting for as much damage as a two-handed swordsman, or a TKA...but there are good points to being a fencer.
Everytime someone wants to duel, they say, "None of that lunge/dizzy" stuff. ![]()
If you can get a good sword, and get a good *roll* lunge/dizzy works as well as any KD, cause it literally seems to paralyze people. I've realized that being a MCM, my role in Player vs Player is as a medic/poisoner...not a fencer. But fencing is fun, but the idea of fencing has never been massive damage, it's always been quick surgical strikes, which can knock out any foe --
-- another thing people need to realize, sometimes when they fight someone and seem to do no damage, there is a strong chance that person has been buffed by a master doctor.
Overall, I love the One Handed class -- we may never be the strongest or the best, but we will always be there.
A Blademaster can do the most burst damage besides a commando using a heavy weapon (ie rocket launcher). Once you get a few one hand speed +, the gaffi stick is the best weapon. Its high attack speed means nothing because as a master I have +90 to 1hand weapon speed. Its the damage that matters.
Against most creatures and NPCs, I can do 1500-2500 with one hand hit 3. I can use this attack about 15-20 times before my HAM is drained. Say I get minimum damage every hit, thats still over 22,000 dmg in a matter of 10 seconds. Granted if you're being hit this number is lowered, but thats why Master CH is a good combination for Fencer.
For PvP, Medic isn't bad to pair with fencing, nor is TKA for the added melee/ranged defence. Overall, I enjoy my class. I can take out 5 storm troopers for my faction missions with ease. Things go wrong occasionally and I get incapped, but thats why I have my trusty gurreck around. He takes the main portion of the damage while I go after the imps with rifles ![]()
