Thread: Stun baton...
Yeah.. what Flux said..
It does stun damage.. The only thing that protects againist stun damage is a shield generator.. and that will get waxed fast.. but if your in a duel againist a fencer, you better use one. Hence.. armor is useless againist it. However, if they aren't wearing armor, then break out your favorite sword...
hmm ah I see.. I must attack a person with padded armor then... Still though come on, wheres the cool sound instead of itsounding like I smacked him over the head with a rolling pin...
One...Don't we get a Stun attack (which just slows down the opponet)
Two...Beware the bunnys on Rori. They have AR 1 and 10% stun effectiveness.....

Does anyone even use this weapon?? I tried so hard to find one and when I did, I found myself very disappointed. Shouldn't that be our main weapon considering that it is what aone-handed swordsmanobtains when he becomes a fencer?? Why is it so crappy? I thought that maybe I had just gotten a "gimp-made" stun baton but then I look through the threads and see that most fencers are using vibro blades or curved blades doing 809,847 times more damage then the stun baton. Granted the stun baton does "stun" damage but everything I examine lately seems to have high resistance to stun... Perhaps someone could enlighten me as to why the stun baton is our specialized weapon when its junk. Makes a cool sound though...if someone else is using it....
Yes,
If you can get really nice materials and make a high damage one (higher than 200 max damage), I would buy them at a heart beat. Any less would be ... rather worthless.
But note unless in serious PvP, we fencers will avoid using them. So I wouldn't make them for mass sales.
