OK BUT:

I have skill items making my 1 hand counterattack 0/20 and 1 hand evasion 0/18--- whats this do?

any ideas on this one?

how does it make one handed counterattack 0/20? i'm not familiar with this item. can you post the exact description from the item or a screen shot? maybe Raphayl has an idea, but from what you said i can't figure out what you're talking about.

ok i have skill items (armor and clothing attachements that give me stats that didnt exist before-- im a master fencer and i have one handed melee damage 0/10 and one handed counter attck 0/18 and one handed evasion0/20.

if it says "one handed counterattack" then it will only work when you have a one handed weapon equipped, and should not function when you have anything else equipped.

Sorry to take so long answering this. I've just recently arrived home from work.

The problem you are experiencing have nothing to do with these skill mods. The fact that you are seeing this nowis a coincidence in timing.

As a Rifleman, you have the defensive skill of "Block." Block was recently bumped up significantly, so you are Blocking far more often than you used to. However, there is currently a text problem associated with Block. It incorrectly tells the Blocker(you) thatyou have Counterattacked, but correctly tells your attacker that you have Blocked.

Therefore the "Counterattacks" you are seeing aren't really Counterattacks, and have nothing to do with those skill enhancers. Hope this helps.

when it says 0/18 or 0/20, the first number, the 0 means that that is what ur skill is currently at with no add ons. meaning that u dont have any onehanded counterattack, but whatever clothes or attachments u have in them gives it +18. the second number is the ammount u have after the bonuses are added on

yes i know this -- the question was what are these skills and when will the work-- i am master rifle and master fencer and since gtting these mods i seem to be COUNTERATTACKING every shot that actually hits me when rifle is euipped--..?
