Hi mates

Im not a fencer yet but I hope to be, soon because they look so cool

But I have been wondering about something.

Gaffi and Stun baton seems to be the best two weapons in the fencer proffesion. But none of these are "Swords". Wouldn't it make sense if they made the Curved sword stronger?

So there is one good sword to choose from

It also looks cool...

The gaffi does too.. But it looks more like a golf club.. And the stun baton, is also very neat...

I just think it would be nice with a good Curved sword!

My current curved sword is:

Speed: 2.2

Damage: 95-216

Ham cost: 22/45/30

And it is sliced..

But my Gaffi is:

Speed: 2.5

Damage: 132-222

ham cost: 58/35/16

And its also sliced....

The gaffi and stun batons just seem superior on my server! Or is it me?

Is there any master fencers out there who uses, Vibro blade, curved sword og ryyk blade? Anything else but the batons?

But im a noob, so sorry if it is a foolish question

Jenky, you can make great curved swords from rancor teeth (looted mainly off of Enraged Rancors), it's just a matter of getting ahold of them. I only keep ones that are +70 (+50 is thebase stat of rancor teeth, and that's only +8 roughly better than what a very good masterAS can make as their core)and over. On Valcyn, that equates to a curved sword of around 205 max damage unsliced. Good luck.

The gaffi is generally better, but the curved sword is faster, so at lower fencer levels you should either use a speed sliced gaffi or curved sword. I found the curved swords to be most useful at getting the one handed tree in brawler. I also use a vibroblade with a 30% damage slice, now it has 191 max damage, vb's are useful against lightly armoured mobs, like horned vorritors, its the only weapon we have with armour piercing, (i also like the sounds it makes, ha ha ha).
Rykk blades are pointless really, not as good as a curved sword. So there is little point in having them.

Ok but would you guys use your Curved Swords as master fencers?

I thought that Fencers made the speed cap really fast?
