Thread: An idea for Dual Wield and AP and a new weapon

Ok, this may have been said before...but.....Lets say the Devs give us a new AP 1 weapon faster and more dmg than gaffi ( cert being at master of course ) And lets say that when you hold two of these you get medium AP. so AP1 + AP1 = AP2. and you could make it so AP0 + AP0 = AP1. would work well for us i think. Since our 3 main issues are a new blademaster weapon, AP, and dual wield I thought I would share my idea. Comments and suggestions welcome

if u r dual wielding a weapon that pierces armor it wouldnt upgrade the armor piercing . all it would do is make u hit faster and do less dmg. if u have composite and i have 2 weapons it doesnt mean i am going to do AP 2 all i what do is shoiot faster or hit faster and in the case of melee dual wielding u would do alot less dmg

yes and then you can called be 'heavy fencers' and the profession of swordsman can be removed from the game and you will have the best melee defence and the best melee damage output in pve and pvp and then everyone would be fencer/rifleman

Im not trying to replace the swordsman profession...AP was one of our main issues so I thought I would share and idea....and Dual wield should have some negative effects as well....like say lowered defense....so the master fencer could sacrifice defense for better attack (AP).

but then that would negate the need for a swordsmn profession as they do allready have weak defense tyou would just swtich between one and two weapons depending on your ham so if you get damaged you can switch to one gaffi stick to klet your ham regen, so effectivly you'd be getting the equivilent of two profs for the skill points of one, hey why don't you ask for head hit 3 while your at it? i understand you want new weapons but ap1 or ap 2 would negate other melee profs and make fencer the only one worthwhiledoing

Like I said, AP was on the fencer issue list...I offered an idea...if you dont like it thats fine by me...but lighten up jeez

all i know is fencers need at least light ap weapons.... we cant do crap against high cl mobs. they have medium ap already neglecting half our damage and then they have liek 30 percent kinetic resist so we get screwed. pistoleer has some ap 1 weapons and has lots of diff damage types so they can normally do somethnig with there millions of types of damage.
