Hi, just thought I'd mention I reached Master Fencer today. I'd wanted to be one for a long time now, and when I found that even my 15th profession did not make my holocron silent, I decided to forsake the professiongrind andgo for theone I've wanted to play formonths. Ever since I first mastered brawler, I had enjoyed one-handed weaponry more than any other combat form in the game.
The progression was fun and I was never bored going up the skill boxes. I hope to see just what I am capable of soon enough, but I'm just glad I was finally able to attain the profession I've wanted for so long. I've always considered my character a bit of a pirate (I'm moreof a smuggler than anything else) so this was icing on the cake for me. Thanks to everyone for many of the great posts I've read herethat helped me reach my goal

Yes it would, IMO. Although, I'm having trouble remembering life without Meditate 4.

Good Job On mastering it........O and btw YESSSS meditation 4 is very valuabe...Force of will....an extra +500 powerboost..I suggest dropping postileer dont sacrafice novice medic!!

Well, the only thing I can afford to lose out of pistoleer is probably Grips I which I just tossed in to cap my dodge skill, the extra speed, techniques and defenses are vital for my use of smuggler specials which help overcome a few of my weaknesses. If I dropped grips 1 and novice medic I could hit Meditate 4, but I'd have to drop all of pistoleer save technique II in order to keep novice medic and get meditate 4... not worth the cost for me.

Novice Medic is not worth giving up for anything IMO. Powerboost is useful, sure, but it only adds around 500-600 HAM to your primary stats (depends on your race). I think the best part of meditate is wound healing, lol, and thats just convenience. FOW is really cool, but at just meditate 4, it will probably only work 50-60% of the time, but if your being incapped, your most likely gonna get incapped again in PvP, its saved my ass a bunch of times, but not as much as medic has .

lets hear it for fencer/smugglers
I'm rocking master smuggler, master fencer, 4000 tk, and 0040 medic.
kinda makes my smuggler pistols skills worthless in pvp...but im not too concerned.

I've decided just last night to start the Fencer profession. I've always wondered if it would be fun, and hearing from you guys seems like it just might be.
I'm planning on starting tonite.....I just hope the move up the Fencer tree is as much fun as Caylin says.
Anyways, I've been a Master Smuggler since I've started, maybe it'll be good to try something else.
