Thread: Will getting Novice help me?

I am going to be a fencer and smuggler because both seem like they would be fun to me. I am working on getting novice fencer right now and was wondering does the dodge bonus I get from novvice fencer help at all with unarmed because it is a pain getting to unarmed 4 for smuggler and I really want to know if getting to novice fencer in a hurry would help me. Also does dodge work with pistols?

Any dodge you get helps. I had already mastered pistoleer when I took up fencer and I hit the dodge cap of 125. I noticed a significant increase in my dodge ability when I recieve the extra dodge from fencer. I have a couple of attachments on a ubese armor shirt that boost my dodge also.
