Im at a struggle. I like both the swordsman and the fencer BUT swordsman seems SO MUCH BETTER. If u look at it SOE trys to even out proffesions EX.commando but im both fencer and swordsman with both great wep's gaddi stick 295 max 3.0 speed and two handedcurved swords 295 3.0 i got the same damage and speed for one reason. to test witch does more damage. after a while i relized the sword did much more damage why? i also think fencer should get another sword and gaddi STICKS arent swords we should get some kind of '' the fencer scythe'' meaning we should get a geo or somthing else sword i would agree u put the rantok in there but it STINKS 170 damage? pathetic much? we should have a diffrent sword at the same level as the swordsman get the scythe............. In PVE swordsman easily does more damage than Fencer, In duels, Fencers outshine swordsman. Sure they got uber head hits, but what does it matter when they cant land them? hehe, all a matter of preference. Currently I am dropping Doctor to become a Swordsman(kinda to fit my RPing samurai experience). This way, I can PVE and PVP well. I also have a master plan lol...anyone try Fencer dizzy2 then switch to swordsman and do AoE posture down? If anyone has, i'd like to see how well it preforms lol

no fair you stole my idea... Or you can go up the pikeman defense line and get the AoE KD.... My plan is to master fencer, swordsman, and brawler, and dabble in tka and pike. I feel that way I can have all of the AoE states...

lol, sorry if I stole it, but the idea only got to me around 20minutes ago as I looked at the Swordsman skill trees and found they had an AoE posture down

Swords area posture downhas dizzy also.....Ocasionaly if the land in the right order it can produce a KD....Hit 3 also has a random dizzy it seems....lunge 2 is better and more reliable tho for the KD effect.

The reason the Curved sword out damages the Stick is because if has ap2 and swordsmen specials tend to have a larger multiplier attached to them....So when you attack something Unarmored(Durni's for example) the Sword does much more damage, at later levels fencer can Stretch their speed bonuses a bit farther thenswordsmen can, So they are Always at the 1 second speed cap....While swordsmen need armor attachments to reach the same level.

Play swordsmen if you Want to Kill Big creatures and Npc's "easier"....

Play fencer if you want to Own people in PvP to an extent....

Play both if you Want to do both more effectivly, they complement each other well....

Ya like what was stated above......fencer is pvp swordsman is pve

I macroed it so it worked with a touch of a button. It works great. Didnt have it long enough to use it in pvp. But in pve it wasnt uncommon to see several Jantas and lower level Nightsisters on the the ground trying to get up, surrounding me.
