Thread: What is the point of the Vibroblade?

I have to ask this because I know there is a logical answer for this, but I haven't figured it out. I have been using all my weapons lately and I can't figure out why anyone uses the vibro.
I find my curved sword damages more and my stun baton takes care of the high % kinetic resistant foes. So what's the point? Is it the 'light armour' piercing ability? What does this do exactly???

its a great PVP weapon. like when i KD and warcry someone with armor on i swich too my virbo blade of stunn batons. and its also good for a master fencer/tk'er that can get no more exp when fighting rancors and dont want to hogg EXP from everyone!

Against a 25-40% stun set of composite, a vibroblade will usually outdamage any other fencer weapon.

I seem to recall i got a really crappy slice on my vibro. Might have to look into getting another, but by that thing's calculations, my gaffi and my vibro did almost identical damage against a medium or heavy armour foe.

i love my vibroblade, mainly for the light AP and super super low HAM costs, i soloed the tusken king today with it (and im nto master)

use it to inflict status affects. Especially the ones that are harder to stick.

Back in my days as a Fencer i had my 230 max damage vibroblade.
I called it "little skinner"
And that is exactly what it did. IKt sliced open all sorts of stuff and in PvP it was devastating. No other fencer weapon came ever close to compete with it (not even a stun baton against Stun vulnerable opponents.....

Armor piercing and low ham cost, think of a situation like this, bull rancor has light armor, kinetic, and stun res, so stun baton is worthless, you try gaffi and vibroblade and guess what the damage is about idential, but you aren't killing urself for the rancor when ur using the vibroblade.

Yep, my blad is 11/22/11 for HAM costs. I love it! I can tank all night and not worry too much.

man between my vibroblade and stun baton, i almost never use my gaffi for pvp anymore... probably only against unarmored guys.

Naritus weaponsmiths must not care too much about fencers...... I went to 6 different weapons shops looking for upscale vibroblades and the best I found was a VB sliced to max damage 156. I know there are dropped nightsister vibro motors but I have been trying for months to get one and no luck.
