I have decided, that after being handed my ass over and over by fencers, that i would just join em. What are good stats on a stun baton and a gaffi for grinding? What is the most effective pvp strategy? If I use COB while holding a stun baton, then switch to my Vk's, will i recieve the bonuses from both of em? Thanks for any answers.

We also do not like when people can not do the researchthem selves, the answers are everywhere just look.

I'll try to help you as someone who recently became a fencer. what i did was went to a melee weapons store and bought myself a curved sword. the sword had something like 2.2 speed, 74-200 damage (estimate) and i bought a gaderiffi baton 170-260 damage at 3.5 speed. i used the curved sword all the way through the brawler tree killing creatures on corellia. i killed rogue bagerasets (700xp) and direcats (500-1000xp) until 3ed level and then switched to razor cats (2000xp) and after i got 4th brawler i kept killingg razor cats using the spin tricks to make more spawns at lairs. after i became novice i started to hunt sharniffs with another person. after i got a little further i was able to solo sharniffs easily. i can do sharniffs in under 13 minutes a den (9-15 sharns a den at 3500-4300xp a kill = a ton of xp fast) good way to level up.


and i think CoB only works for the weapon equiped so i dont think using unarmed with one handed cob will work.
cant really help you out for good stats on a weapon but i recommend searching around. good luck and i hope i was some help

In answer to your questions:I never used a stun to level.My ackley stun was a very generous gift from a good friend and is up on my wall as a prize possession in perfect shape.I used a curved sword and gaffi stick to level. My curved was about 80-200 for damage ( might remember that slighty wrong) and my gaffi max was about 230 or so for damage. I leveled off regular old quenkers on dant and bazes on dath and did some caves as well for it.

As far as pvp goes, I'm sorry but I don't havemuch xpin that except dueling my friends so I don't think I can help you there but if you type in pvp in the advanced search option for only fencer, you should find a thread about it.

As far as CoB goes, yeah if you switched from one-handed to unarmed you can't run it. As far as I know. I haven't done tk myself but my husband did both and I don't remember him being able to do that. Someone feel free to correct me if I'm wrong

With switching between melee professions, while CoB is on, the bonus you get from CoB is for the specific professionweapon equipped. So if you had a curved sword in your hand and started CoB, CoB would enhance your dodging ability, when you switch to your VK's, while still CoB'd, you get the CoB bonus for Defense Acuity(which is the TK's inate ability tododge/counter attack/block). TK's Defense Acuity gives the TK a chance at performing either of the other three melee abilities.\
