What are the best things I can solo. I'm at novice fencer, I have a good set of ubese (and a composite helmet). I've fought pickets to get the meditation branch in tka and now that I'm done with that I wanted to work on fencer as my main combat profession. However, though I know I can take on pickets with buffs and my armor, I spent three or four days seeing nothing but pikets all the time I was playing this game. It's driving me nuts! That's why I wanted to ask if there is anything else I could solo that would give a similar amount of xp and are not pikets.

go to dant and grind hurrtons or quenkers.....stay away from savage quenkers or seething bol crushers,or quenker relics for right now....best bet would be to have someone tank for you until you get just alil higher in skill....80% composite, brandy, canape and nov medic and you can solo anything right now

Oy, I'm really sick of dant, though. I've been there grinding for days on my tka meditation skills... don't really want to go back there for awhile.

You can take klickniks, gackle bats, chokus, and mamienson yavin pretty well I'd think if you're looking for a change of scenery. You can also hang out around the krayt graveyard on tatooine and kill banthas, squills, rontos, sand beetles, and dewbacks. The devs have done a fairly good job of levelling out the xp gain on creatures so that the old, "only kill savage quenkers" deal has kind of gone by the wayside now. Just go wherever there are large concentrations of creatures to kill.
I personally will go to the Squill cave on Tatooine every now and then for some xp, then go to the different ewok caves on endor, then maybe go back to dant for regular quenker, picket, huurton levelling.

squill cave, eh? How much xp do they give out a kill? I've been kinda experimenting on dathomir, and I found that I was getting quite a bit of xp in a short amount of time by killing escaped slaves. The stuff on dath are kinda annoying though, like the reptillian fliers. You don't have to get their ham down quite as far as you would on most creatures and then the fly off at the speed of light when they run. Not only that, but when things run in dath they seem to run straight through other red mobs and that makes them kinda hard to follow.

I have to admit that squills are not the best bang for your buck as far as xp goes if I remember correctly. But, there are quite a few of them in a small area and the cave respawns I think every 15 minutes or so, so it's not an entirely bad place, plus as you mentioned, it's a change of scenery which is sometimes most important. Was thinking, you can probably do alright as far as xp (and loot) goes in the Aakuan cave on Talus also, but that place only respawns once an hour and is often camped. If you went slowly, the janta and kunga caves on dantooine are also probably doable and are decent places for xp and loot.

wild lairs on endor. Just take 2 missions in the same direction and kill everthing on your way out and back. Nice xp.

savage quenkers r still fine. i just target the lair and spam spinattack. done. or if u want just target them and set on follow spamming the same attack.
personally tho, i prefere huurton huntresses. more xp per kill but the lairs take a while.

Hmm just want to say a little something about training here. Ive trained a wookiee in fencer on dant, and a human BH in pistols and LLC and you dont need any armour at all. It'll just get trashed anyway. Get a doc buff and a musician buff, no need for expensive brandys and such either.
Buying armour and food is one hell of an expensive way to train, just get buffed and choose your battles sensibly. Believe in yourself and not expensive luxuries, it'll make you a better fighter too

Depends on what your fighting. I can see your point and that is your way. I for one like to find a lair with the most xp it can get me swallow my 2 brandies, put on my armor if they I need to and goto work. If it's something that will give a trouble then I wear the armor, if theyaren't I don't. But I am not going to shy away from a lair that will net me over 100k xp to save some armor I can pull 4-5 missions and buya new set. Why would youneed armor or brandys for LLC and pistols anyways? Not the same as melee at all. You can kite with both and youwon't need the armor. With a melee class it'stotaly different. Your way worked for you and without knowing what you were grinding hard to say it was the best way. I hit a pile of bones lair on dant that spawned 4 voit hunters at once. I think that merits a little armor to be safe. Two voit hunters I can stand there in my speedos though with a good buff.
