ok im just now starting fencer and i have a Gaderiffi baton that i looted off a tuskenand i was just wondering what you guys think i should buy for one of my first real weapons and when... keep in mind i dont want to waste money on a weapon if im gunna get certified for something better soon after.. if you know what i mean

I working fencing too. I've never used a Gaffi Stick to level. I use a curved sword sliced for speed and a fast Vibroblade. All the way up to novice fencer. Then got a good stun baton (speed sliced again) Then go get buffed and got to dant for the solo group then spam 1-handed spin on layer. You'll hit everything around you and you'll be able to level relatively fast. I recommend Quenkers.

Speed is a huge consideration when starting fencer, so I would recommend getting a good curved sword with a speed slice. A Gaffi has higher damage but it's a lot slower than a good curved sword, so the DPS is pretty similar.

buy a gaffi from a 12 point master weaponsmith

gaffi is good after you get the speed mods from fencer (x4xx)
