The devs said they have a buttload of weapons for all classes ready to be put in the game. They plan on releasing them gradually, though. Just be patient, at least we've got one of the better professions.

Who knows when new weapons will arrive. I would assume they will await till after the combat revamp before introducing more weapons that they might have to change later if they did introduce them now.

A whip? yea we could be the Indiana jones' of SWG, or we could use the whip for things other than combat.........
