On farstar server i can pick up a full set of 70% ubese for 90 - 100K
The encumbrence on this is very low so you can wear it unbuffed, as a fencer this will be one of the best investments you can make, as you will be able to take on much harder mobs quite easily, i.e. you will be able to take on most reds and win. If you want to hardcore grind fencer then get a buff from a master doc put on your 70% Kinetic resist ubese and go to dantooine and take savage quenker missions, these are about 6.8 - 6.9k missions, they are very easy to do and give great xp. Group with a pet or friends before you start as you get 800xp more per kill when grouped, with this you will get around 3.8 - 3.9k xp per savage quenker.
Yeah 200k is INSANE for a suit of armor. Thats over 200cpu profit for an as, way to much.
You shouldnt look for this "top notch" ubese at your level, stick with 50% or so, mainly cut off a good chunk of damage, but worry more about the price then an extra 20%, for armor that doesnt last long.
Money is an issue if you only do missions, the 'easiest' way to make money probaly is slicing, for small ammounts. It takes no "Quality" resources to do, and its relativly easy to level. Not sure how popular Dath is on your server, but on mine its bustling wtih activity, due to the 36k Enraged Rancor missions, but id try the hardest missions you can,and once your footwork 4 (thats the first tree you should climb, unless you really want melee mit 1 first) you should be able to solo 10k missions without much (if any) trouble.
Another note, buffs, very important. Set of 10-12k buffs should last you ATLEAST two hours, and making that back shouldnt be hard, even running a few low missions, it should still be a piece of cake.
Oreb, i just noticed you play on bria, I do as well.
I will send you a tell when I catch ya online, I can help you out emensly
Second, I suggest some Tantel or some Bone (but be careful and make sure it has kinetic resistance). Both have fairly light weight, cut your damage in half, and are very cheap. You might even find some cheap chiton out there.
If you have lots of credits to burn, just pick up the highest kinetic resist ubese you can find.
Don't overlook food buffs. Those can work as good as armor! Even a 200-300 point buff at your level will make a big difference.
Thanks a lot folks for the help. I really appreciate it. Please tell me anytime Vincent. Although I miss tells a lot, email usually gets my attention. Nobody commented on my stats though. Does that mean they are ok?
Also, what about the two Scouting skills. Do they help?
Thanks again,
Oreb on Bria
