Fencer Archive

I have seen posts where people are grinding Fencer with Composite Armor, muon, brandy, buffs, etc. and doing the quenker lairs on Dantooine, but I don't want to dish out the bucks for the armor. Can I still pull this off without it? If not, what's something I can do that would give good exp and I could do without the armor?

Without armor, it will be much slower to do any profession generally.

Without the armor, you cant (as easily, but you still 'can' do this) go right onto a lair, spin attack (or dizzy2, is our best area attack) without worrying.

Buffs, brandy, definatly a must for any reason of speed for grinding.

Without those, if you take the quenkers on one at a time, or not tapping right off (fighting the say, 5 out normally, wait, tap, take those, tap it down, take the 3rd wave out) you should be ok. Medic will be nesecarry unless you wait to sit and actually wait.

Without armor it isnt easy, but if you use say, ubese, itll help and on my server, some armorsmiths make like 40% ubese for 50k a suit (PERFECT for grinding this stuff)

Thats what i did, no armor just buffs and brandy. I didnt quenkers some but the routine got old fast so i started doing Fort Tusken. Some days are good some are bad up there but I found the looting more enjoyable- with exception to kill stealers

FT is horrible on Bria, I havent been in a while, but several guildmates go, and they all say its camped-out-the-wazoo.

Give em their gaffies back, hehe, hehe, hehe, then it wont be so camped (tuskins own with gaffis haha, they use to drop upward of 280max gaffis)

Spin Attack 2 is nice b/c it blinds the targets as well. Just make a macro like this...

Call it: COB

/ui action ClearCombatQueue;

/centerofbeing;

/pause *insert COB Duration mod + 1 here*;

/macro cob;

Then just run that by typing /macro cob. This will raise your dodge rate a lot and then if you spam spin attack 2, it blinds the target so you hardly get hit. Its nice to have novice medic to heal yourself if need be. I would still recommend getting armor, but this would be your best bet to avoid being hit if you are going to do it w/o armor.
