I would like to know if there is a better/easier way of getting money than doing missions on dant. I have no armor, a decent weapon and a swoop, I'd like to buy some good comp. Is grinding missions my only hope?

I wouldn't really suggest comp. cause the encumbrance is pretty high and you want to use your specials to take down whatever your fighting and not worry about it. I'd go w/ some high kinetic resist Ubese(since you are doing melee fighting it's kinetic dmg) and the encumbrance is less than comp...plus it's cheaper. So far I've just been doing savage quenker missions and they seem to be the best for grinding out fencer. Around 3245 xp each kill, but recently I've been taking out Mokk's at their stronghold(POI) and they give atleast 4k xp a kill and arent too bad, just watch out for them all swarming the crap outta ya.

Yes and no. You have two options to make quick money with your resources.

First pick up scout with what points you have available and harvest MEAT off every kill you get. Depending on the PE and DR you can sell it for 2-6 cpu on the bazaar and be sold out in under two days. Make a bargin with any chef and you might have a sponsor on your hands.

Second, pick up artisan instead then buy some surveying tools. Mineral, chemical, and gas pocket. Now head 1km outside of your favorite city and start surveying. Find a resource with a 69% concentration or higher then save that waypoint but make absolutely sure that its more than 1km outside of the city limits or at least that far from an artisan terminal. Its best if you can find two or more different types of "general" resource such as liquid petrol, igneous ore, reactive gas, etc. Head back to the city and find an artisan terminal. Keep refreshing until you can pick up two survey missions for the same resource type. Now drive back to your waypoint and survey. Viola you get paid for two missions all at once. Time spent driving back and forth: 3min? Depending on your skill you'll make about 3-4k per trip.

I got my first full set of composite, sliced stun baton, andgaffithat way. Ok I did alot of bazaar searching trying to find armor that had low condition and just needed to be repaired.

I agree with the other poster though. Comp. is nice for pickets, jantas, and relic quenkers but ubese is best for the other stuff. I started with 58% kinetic chitin since it was so cheap to buy and had low HAM to boot until I got 70% ubese.

p.s.- Doing missions is still going to be the primary money maker in this game for you unless you pick up doctor or a crafting profession.
