Boik!

Accuracy and defense mods are not connected; one could conceivably be very accurate, but still have little chance to dodge without adequate defensive skills.

Not sure if this has been asked but, does Weapon Accuracy have anything to do on if you dodge or not? Or does Dodge work on something else, and Accuracy has no effect on it?

Like, if someone has very high Accuracy, are you going to dodge alot less than someone who has average accuracy?

I Need to know, if im facing a Fencer with 125 Dodge, and food that boost's his Dodge, using CoB, will I hit him more if my weapon has very high Accuracy? or is he still going to dodge like a mad dog?

Does the Accuracy of my weapon matter in terms of his Dodging, or will his high Dodge allow him to dodge reguardless of my Accuracy cause it works on something else?

I'm virtually certain that a high accuracy (say you master BH and Pistoleer and ate accuracy food) will help against high dodge defense.

the way i've seen it work, accuracy gets set against melee/ranged defence. if that gets broken maybe whats left of the accuracy gets set against the dodge multiplier and then rolled. but basically the higher teh accuracy of the person the more they'll hit you don't know the mathematics of it lol.

To hit a defense stacker, get a weapon made with Range Modifiers topped out, take accuracy food. Try to apply all states avaialbe to your template before switching back to another weapons for dmg.

i have been making DXR6-B rifles for the riflemen in our guild and exp almost all on range for each component. adv ideal range is +160. in duels and pvp this makes a HUGE diffence when fighting a stacked fencer [my alt is one]. it also makes a huge diff when fighting jedi!!! its also great for applying states. not sure how if at all it effects dodge but i do know i get hit 50% more with a range exp weapon.

The answer to your question is no, your accuracy does NOT affect your opponents ability to dodge. First the game calculates whether or not you "hit" your target (you either hit him or you miss him) and THEN if the game calculated a "hit" for you, it then calculates whether or not your opponent dodges your attack or not. A dodged attack is first calculated as a hit, and then the hit is calculated as a dodge.

This is not to say that accuracy is unimportant however. Here's a little example using simplified, round numbers.

Lets say you shoot at someone 100 times and they have a 50% chance to dodge your attacks. With an accuracy of a certain amount you might hit him40% ofthe time, i.e you hit him 40 times (this is determined by your opponents ranged/melee defense as compared to your accuracy). Then he dodges 50% of those hits, which means you did actual damage to him on 20 hits.

Now lets say you have a HIGHER accuracy weapon (or accuracy mods or whatever). You shoot at the same person 100 times and hit him 60 times (because you now have higher accuracy than the previous test). He still has his 50% chance to dodge, and he dodges 50% of your hits. But that means that this time 30 of your shots did damage to him, rather than 20 in the case above.

Hope this helps.
