OK here I am, a commando. I endured it being broken. Now its so overdone that SO many people are commandos its disgusting. I am trying out fencing. I only in the 3rd block in the brawler tree but I am REALLY liking it. I am not expecting them to do great in pvp YET last night I was in a pvp battle where everyone was a CH or commando except one little TKA who killed me the MOST times by sneaking up and killing me fast.

This is a promising profession to me and I look forward to going into it until the commando hype has died down

I feal the same way. Bought a second account and wanted a proffesion that is elite and classy. I made Doctor first knowing fencing xp would come 10x faster and it has. I am amazed at the dmg output at such a low lvl of fencing although I have yet to tangle with anything bigger than Snorbles, but at only 0/2/0/1 I am taking them out with a scary ease.

This is truly a one of the most overlooked classes in the game and aside from Devs I hope it stays that way.

It's good to hear aspiring fencers enjoying the profession. I've seen a lot of people abandon it before it becomes rewarding. I think there's a lot more personality in this profession than the endless creature handling commandos and bounty hunters.

I've enjoyed Fencer, too. I was a Pistoleer for a while, but I eventually realized that a Pisoleer was just a melee artist with a gun. I switched to the sword, and the damage just came quick.

I'm working on Master Brawler at the moment. Two-Hand Sword rocks. Unarmed is an exercise in patience. Pikeman is cool up until you get the long vibro-axe, and then it just becomes an exercise in futility. (-50 at optimal range??? **edit**???)

Oddly enough, this is all far easier on Test Center. They must have fixed some other combat problems on us.

Yeah, I love being a fencer, currently I am only 1111 but it absolutely rocks.

I have no idea how it compares to most other classes, my original vision of a weaponsmith (sword) creating and using his own blades kinda went down the pan and i ended up with a Pistoleer/Artisan. But since taking the fencing path it really has been no turning back.

It is great fun to play, I seem to make reasonably good progress, won a few duels and taken part in the story arcs (Though the last part of COA2 was a tricky one ) Also being part of a well represented and small community really is the icing on the cake.

I love this profession too. It's a lot of fun to play, and very rewarding (a spin attack that drops three Meatlumps always makes me smile).

I may need to start limiting my exposure, though. Yesterday I tried to dizzy/lunge my boss.

I have an appointment with the company psychiatrist in an hour.

You probably already know this... but if you are on fire and you know of a body of water nearby... go jump in it.
