Thread: Should I be a swordsman or a fencer?
I have learned from some melee weapon shops that i've been to that fencing weapons have no armor peircing, but swordsman weapons do. swordsman weapons seem to have better stats overall as well. And the cool looking two handed cleaver. So what are the pros of the fencer? How big of a difference does this armor peircing make?
I think the implication was that fencers have class... we have style in the way we fight and strategies we use. Our weapons are decidedly UNstylish.
Hi,
I am in it for the title, BladeMaster. No title cooler. I mean Master Heavy Swordsman? Oh please!

Blademaster? Meh, I use my Battlemaster title. ![]()
Anyhow, if you wanna actually KILL stuff with a sword, be a swordsman. If you wanna dance around like a sissy while HOLDING a sword, be a fencer. ![]()
Just messing with ya, fencers. But seriously, swordsman do alot more damage in less time and can hit mind, but fencers can blind and dizzy their opponents and they have alot better defense. Basically more offense, or more defense.
Those are the simplified facts. You should be able to decide from there.
Hi,
Fencer profession requires lots of peanuts in your brain. You have to get very smart with specials. Special spamming will get you killed. But if you are smart enough and quick enough to dish out the right specials at the right times, a fencer can be very formidable since the likelihood of landing blows for a fencer is very high.
Then again, a fencer simply cannot be go against AT-ST or Turrets whichdamage resistance is considerably high and you can't bleed these guys. (Which kinda make sense because I wouldn't take out a tank with a combat knife. I wish I could get inside of that thing and kill the operators.)
