Thread: I fealt the power today...What a Rush
Been playing a MBH until recently buying a new account and going Doc/Fencer...I was getting a little worried that I wouldnt like fencing until today..
Anway, I was cruising in gallop on my Kaadu and wound up smack dab in the middle of a Graul Mauler lair, 2 of these bastards went agro on me just and my kaadu decided it was time to go bugged and slow to a snails pace.
Well off I hopped and had no choice but to try and take them both on, mind you im buffed to 3k health and action and popped a Moun..But I completely shredded them in a mere 30 seconds.I had to just stand back and look at the combat log, I couldnt believe how many times they missed me or how little dmg I was taking from them...
Fencing is truly taken on a whole new light now.Thank God SOE finnaly came around and did something good for a change, my Hat goes off to them all...
-Peace Out-
wo0T! Nice man! 2 Graul Maulers at once. Very cool. I once took down a Graul Mauler in PVP. I wish I could have seen the look on the handler's face when his Mauler took a nap and was quickly incappedwithout ever landing the first hit on me.
As an MBH, you should know that a Master Fencer / Master BH team is nearly unstoppable in PVP. Working together, the Fencer can knock emdown as fast as they can declare, and then a single shot from Lightning single 2 will pretty much end any fight right then and there. It works well in PVE as well. I saw that lightning shot do over 10K worth of damage to a knocked downKwi last night. I'm talking about what is usually a pretty good fight was over in mere seconds with 2 hits. A knockdown from me and Lightning single 2 from the BH. It's impressive to see. If you see a Fencer and BH duo coming at you, run!

It's not a bug - they were designed that way. Mounts will slow down when you engage in combat to prevent "kiting." It's probably not the best workaround the devs could have thought of, but it's what we got.
If I'm not mistaken, though, if you /peace while not under attack, you get a peace icon by your name and will not automatically engage things that aggro you. If you do this while on a mount, maybe it won't slow down until you actually initiate an attack of your own.
I plan on trying this out as soon as I get my Kaadu trained. ![]()

my guild is me, a near master BH, a working Commando, master doctor and a near master dancer. i don't know how we all got together with no overlap, but it's amazing. and when we're all master, we'll start PvPing as a guild. should be bad ass.

Actually in myexpereinces, you will slow regardless of peace or not, the one factor that doesn't slow you is if your in /gallop or not, when your mount is /gallop ... ing you get a system message saying you cannot engage in combat when galloping /stopgallop if you wish to engage, but who the heck wants to when a kaadu can outrun anything in gallop mode... had a Veermok orwhatever one of the giant ones chasing me, my combat mode came on and went off in a matter of 3 seconds hehe, I was galloping at the time...
