Hey everyone, I am ashamed, and I am not....

I went on the holocron hunt and found a few. Now I used one and to my surprise it said I must Master Fencer. I am really pumped about it because it looks right cool. Plus I was getting bored of Rifleman anyway.

Now my task is to figure out what is the best way to bo about doing this. I'm up to 1 hand III right now, and I can't wait to get into the Fencing class, I am having the best time ever doing this too. melee combat looks way cooler then anything else hehe.

When I get Novice Fencer I will be able to get the first 3 Combat Experience classes right away(maxed Combat Xp from rifleman 300k of it). Now as for everything else, any suggestions? Any tips on play style? What should be my focus of attack skills? Any good combinations?

Any input about your experiences would be awesome. Thanks alot everyone

Get a pet to tank for you. Have some medic skills because you will need it. When you become novice fencer, spend you xp's on footwork as this area of fencing will give you the speed and accuracy bonus you'll need plus a nice bleed hit which will really help alot in combat. I've been incapacitated a few times and just layed there watching the mob bleed to death and therefore gaining xp while still incapped. I would get up and head to my next mission. It goes a long ways.

I'm sure other fellow fencers can give you more advice. I do Huurton huntress pack missions on Dantooine gaining about 15k xp per mission, average, just by consistantly tapping the lair until it's fully drained then destroying it. The most I recorded on a single missions was 24k xp. Nice way to move up fast.

Well, as you can see by the Sig, I'm Combat Medic, so I can heal myself no problem. I'm thinking of dropping it for Doctor, enhancing and whatever. I do have a Cowardly Gurreck so I can use that as a pet, and with the powerful Stim D's I got(THANKS FISK...naboo Theed, straight out from the starport) I can keep any pet alive. I probably won't be needing the Ranged/Area stims anymore since I'll be at the front lines and will be right beside my fellow tankers.

Anyone want to give me a list of skills I should be using? Which ones are most effective and whatever.

Like Rifleman, you go flushingshot1/2 until you get stafeshot2 at master, then it's strafe all the way pretty much...

Anything like that in fencer? Is there a good set of moves to use in different combo's or what?

Thanks again for the responses I get...

If you enjoy melee, put off fencer until you get master brawler. Int2, Warcry 2 and lunge2 are your best friends.

However, if you are in a hurry. I recommend hitting NPCs (like tusken raiders). Start fight with dizzy, follow with lunge1 and then watch them try and stand up Beat em senseless after that. Seriously, concentrate your attacks on debuffs first then proceed with damage. If you were a rifleman Im sure youve got some medic skills. If not then getsome

Other tips, Intimidate/Warcry as you close in on enemies. These have a range of 20m.

This is also debatable, but my favorite weapon is the Gaffi Stick (speed slice first then go for damage sliced).

GL and have fun

I use a bleed hit to start off followed by a blind hit and dizzy hit. I'll use a bodyhit2 once (twice if it's really necessary) for massive damage and after that just take regular swings. I don't spam continuously. I have a pet Greater Sludge Panther and I too use stim D's.

I find that order of specials to be quite effective. Bleed hit, blind hit, Dizzy hit, Bodyhit1. I may do a bleed hit again if necessary. Hope this helps.
