ok lets talk about the speed cap. I am closing in on master fencer (2444). I use a sliced for speed pimp stick. should i switch to a sliced for damage one?
if i do - will iattack at the same speed?
i have sold most of my one-hand speed skill attachments b/c i thought i'd be capped - but if Iwield a higher damaging weapon with a slower speed, perhaps I should use them. I just don't know if they make a weapon slow enough for us not to cap.
so in other words - at what weapon speed am I no longer speed capped?

Actual Speed = (Weapon Speed * DelayMultiplier on Special) ((100 - Weapon Speed Mod)/100) >= 1
So speed caps at once second. If you have a speed modifier of 100, you will always hit at one second, no matter the weapon speed.
Your speed is +80 right now, +90 at master. www.swgcenter.com tells us that our slowest attacks have a 2.5 delay multiplier.
(X * 2.5) ((100 - 80)/100) = 1
To cap on EVERY attack, you must have a weapon speed <= 2.
However, if you wish to only use attacks with a multiplier of 2.25 or lower (BodyHit3, Dizzy2, etc.)
Weapon speed <= 2.2
Once your weapon speed reaches +90, this formula tells us that you can cap all attacks with a weapon speed of 4.
If you want to find out all the mods on your specials, go to www.swgcenter.com, and look under Databases, near the bottom. Special Moves.
(Note: This speed formula was found at http://killyourpc.org/swg/index.html, and repeated in many threads. This formula is one of the reasons why many professions are unbalanced.)
