Thread: Why are you guys complaining about TKM's?

I mastered Fencer a day ago and decided to do some PVP on dant. Im a wookie, so no armor for me, but i do have buffs/brandy. First challenger was a Master Swordsman, and before i almost won he canceled the duel. I keep dueling people, nothing special, anda TKM shows up and says he'll duel(buffed/armored). I was kinda scared at first, because i used to be TKM and I know how good they are. So, he challenges me. Before i start the duel, i use CoB then hit my duel macro. The fight begins, and Im quickly dizzied. I kind of panicked but when I wasnt knocked down i kept my cool. I quickly dizzied him, and lunge1. While hes on the ground I scatterhit 2, bringing his mind to half when he finally gets back up. My dizzy and my CoB go away, while I apply blind, intimidate,warcry and another dizzy. I CoB again, lunge, and finish him off. He hardly damaged me because he couldnt hit me(well he could hit me, but he usually would miss and my buffs would regen my HA) and the only real dmg i got was from spamming scatterhit2. We duel 3 more times i believe, first 2 i beat him, but the 3rd time, he actually got a kd/dizzy on me and I was down the whole time -_-. Im not saying tka should be nerfed, since i beat him 3 out of 4, but fellow fencers, you need to learn how to use your proffession and quit whining that a tkm beat you.

I believe that most people here agree that Fencers can beat TKMs, I don't know where you are getting that we are whining that we can't beat 'em.

i agree...tkm are easy as pie to beat...in most cases a tkm can beat a fencer for the whole pvp aspect..if the group sees their tkm going down aka their tank they will try to take the threat out...fencer are a huge target in pvp...i agree fencer are the **edit**...im 2-4-3-3 and only been grinden 3 days... when i was 0-3-3-2 i was ownen tkm..i tall comes down to ur ability to play the game and know what you are doing.

could you explain what is in your duel macro?
I am tera kasi master and nearly master fencer and I am interested in making one badass duel macro

im a master fencer/tk/bralwer. the ONLY was a master tk could beat me if he KD/dizzy me first. which rarely happends cause of my KD foods/dizzy foods. 165 kd def 100 def vs dizzy. and the reason why most Tk'ers dont beat me is cause they all fight the same way. Knockdown2 <----prey it works and unarmed hit 3 again and again and again. they dont even bother too imtimadate or stunn nothing. just prety KD sticks.
as a fencer i COB too start/blind/imtimadate/dizzy/ *swich to tk and stunn them/ * swich back too fencer put my Gad baton mind burn weapon on/ swich too my posion baton * health posion*/ bleed hit a few times. and depending is there haveing armor or not ill use my stunn baton or my other weapons.
And i do all this in a matter of seconds.( and i dont use a marroc either) so afther the duel they call me a cheater cause i completely owned them with every status effect in teh game and have 500+ mind wound dmg and dont want too fight me anymore.

Nice Woody, BTW my 'duel' macro is like this:
/duel;
...lol, yeah, i jus made it so that i dont have to click on them to duel, then run my mouse up the screens to where my attacks are

I just click on them, type /duel, and then hit F3, Shift-F3, F3 (Dizzy, Lunge, Dizzy in case the first didn't stick)

Umm...why would I hit F3 for dizzy, when its on my F4, and Shift+F3 for lunge when its F5? lol, not everyone has their specials in the same slots as you

Well, Iv'e been reading all these PVP topics lately, and most of the threats in PVP came from TKM supposedly, and I just wanted to state my opinion on how our proffession does

Yeah no crap, I said that because the guy said he had a macro that type /duel for him, and he clicked on his attacks. I was simply stating that you could type /duel yourself, and hit the buttons on the keyboard. But yes, thank you for bringing up this blatently obvious fact, I think that a newb or two with no logical reasoning MIGHT have been confused

Well, tonight pretty much I was in bestine, just comming in from a grind fully buffed an such. All of a sudden I had like 10 rebels come from the cantina rushing me trying to kill me. Luckly I have a macro on that allows COB to run all the time, all i have to do is eat brandy to keep up with the ham useage so that why I regenerate all the ham used before the next click. Anyhow, the rebel force consisted of 3 tka snipers, 2 pistoleer/bh/fencers, four bounty hunters, an one combat medic. Basicly you get the idea of what this was, a mind killer group.
So, I had to flee from this situation as I was completely unperpared for it, the rebels stop chasing an I was able to heal myself up. I poped my good 393 brandy two times, an my 713 capanage two times along with some dodge food an went back into town. I saw the rebels at the shuttleport, suddenly they chased me again. I wanted them to as I shouted out. "Well lookie here a single defenceless impy, you gonna come kill me yet?" An oh boy did they ever chase. I led them around bestine for a while hopeing to get them to spread out a bit, it didnt work they knew me to well. So I ran them to the HOTEL of Bestine.
I laid in wait inside, at the entrance, as they rushed in. I ran around area dizzying, an blinding them all. the battle went on for five minutes stright as I deathblowed each rebel that droped from my damage. As I was well into finishing the kill on my fifth target my muron gold went into downer mode. I cursed as I deathblowed 5 out of 10 rebels that were fully buffed an attacking me with nothing but mind attacks. It was a very insain runing battle as I used Warcry an ran for my life hopeing a mind shot wouldnt incap me. I went down from a hit to the mind, an got back up with ForceOfWill an proceeded to annilate another rebel, as as I struke the final blow, I took a 900 hit to the mind from a sniper thus ending my rampage.
I got serval tells from that rebel group I was one tough chick!

Oh yeah tonight, I killed another jedi in a raid agasit imperial bases one on one battle in the bowls of the base. I honestly do not feel it was a fair victory due to he was poisoned by a CM. luckly it was an action posion. But still, atleast it's one less jedi that will come back any time soon. ^-^

Oh, heres another thing i found interesting.
We were about to raid a base on Naboo and it got canceled so we decided to head over to Coronet to rethink what we should do. As I was loading, an Imp picked a fight with my Master Pikeman/Doc friend. I loaded and found them going toe-toe. I was thinking of helping but a few seconds later, my friend DB's the TKM. I was AMAZED at whatI saw, supposedly the most borked proffession beat a TKM.
Oh and about my 'duel' macro, I just dont like typing and pressing F#'s when i duel. Did that onceand it was hell, had to look up and down from screen to keyboard trying to make sure I didn't press the wrong buttons.
