Just wait until you find 1hHealthHit2.

Hey Fellow fencers...

I just figured out last night that this move (1hand health hit 1 ) causes bleeding contrary to what some of you may have read in the ability description found in the skill tree...

I found out last night when I was buffed and solo'd the pygmy torton caves...I think its awesome....never knew we had a bleed! Has it always been a bleed or at one time did it actually do what the skill tree's ability description said it did....WOUND the targets health pool...?

Good luck everybody...

Not in PvE, and not if you know how to use them. You're talking an extra 1000+ damage every 10 seconds. That's helps a good deal in leveling up and in fighting larger creatures.

Bleeds are not 100/second. if you got that bleed, please tell me what you did and with what. As for the wound, all the bleeding ones state that I believe. There way of saying bleeding.

Bleeds used to be VERY good, now they are hardly worth the HAM cost.

It's been a while since I've used them, but you used to be able to use both HealthHit1 and HealthHit2 and have them stack. The bleed amount is always the value of the damage you did with the hit. With my gaffy stick, I used to use HH1 for about 300 damage, and HH2 for about 700 damage on pikets. Just like any DOT, they ticked every 10 seconds, resulting in 1000 damage every 10s. There was talk that they were going to take away the ability to stack them, and I don't know if they have or not yet. Regardless of whether they stack or not, any extra damage you can do while leveling up is not bad at all.

As for the wounding, yes they wound too. They wound one of the 2 substats on the target. For example, HH1 or 2 will wound the target's Strength or Constitution. The unfortunate thing about that is that substats on creatures are not high to begin with, and are practically non-influential in killing them. The other unfortunate thing is that, just like the DOT effect, they do not compound. I tried this out by hitting my buddy with a bleed shot 10 times. He watched his stats, and said that there was wounding to his substats, but it changed every time I hit him. Sometimes it went up, sometimes it went down, but it was usually around 30-40 wounds.

lol - bleeds are "gay"

Anyhoo - there is wound through bleed - hence the naming. It will be very small (esp, in PvP) I had thought at one time that it was 10% wound (one tick) of the first tick.

Ahh, yes they did away with teh stacking and minimized the dmg, if there was still a way to do it effectively I would have been stoked. But alas, the bleeds were weakened too much.
