Thread: Fencer EXP and Information
First off, I'll say "If all else fails, head to dathomir".
450k is roughly the same you'll have to get for every combat profession for the last box. This is where grouping up, and taking on some high challenge NPC/Creatures is a good idea. I actually found that grinding fencing (specifically fencing) exp. was rather difficult (in large quantity when grouped) due to the different armor ratings and high resistances.
You are correct in the pickets, Dantooine is a great place to grind at (for any combat/weapon xp really) think its due to the title "Adventure Planet".
Anyhow, grouping up (even if solo, group a cheap droid) you get an experience bonus.
And if you end up deciding that 450k for the last box(s) is too much, there is always image design . . . . . . . .

no offense but there are about 1 million posts of this exact same question.
once you get footwork IV get a dmg sliced gaffi a set of good ubese and do hurton huntresses. they db but can be wiped out quickly. pikets have too high kinetic resists. you can gain about 3k each from the huntresses and about 4k from the lair which is about 22k per mission (depending on if pups pop out) plus they give about 7k credits for completing it. hope it helps. you can do about 450k easy in one day.
I was just thankful that the thread had something to do with Fencer
I have done a ton of leveling combat professions and here are some suggestions:
- Spam specials or use no specials. You get the same exp either way, but you can't use a combination or you get less exp.
- Exp is based on two things, how much damage you do and how long youengage apaticular enemy. You can get more experience by doing less damage overall if you engage the enemy for a longer period of time.
- When ever you are mobbed, spam AOE attacks. You might not do much damage, but you will get exp from stuff that is killed while you were engaged with another enemy. I have gotten 4000 exp from mobs I wasn't even close to when they died.
- Rancor valley rocks for exp if you are in a reasonable group.
- Best exp I have found it rancor youths, 5000 exp per kill when grouped. They do marginal damage and are vulnerable to stun. Once you get a good AOE attack, they are cake. I have done 25K in 5 minutes buy getting surrounded.
- I recommend going up the speed tree first, then the defensive tree and saving the offensive tree for last.
- Get buffed and wear armor.
I have tested this for the last 2 nights. Last night I got buffed at 6 PM EST and spent a half hour talking to a friend in Theed. When I arrived on dan2 at about 6:30, I was 0-4-3-3 with only 3k 1H xp leftover. At 8:15 PM I had the xp to train at 1-4-4-4. Obviously using this method you can go from 0-3-0-X to 4-4-4-4 in approximately 12-13 hours of fighting.
